Under the February 2024 amendment, one donor gamete is allowed if a District Medical Board certifies a qualifying medical condition. At least one gamete must come from the intending couple.
The surrogate must be a willing, ever-married woman with her own child, aged 25–35, who is medically and psychologically fit and can act as a surrogate only once in her lifetime.

Yes. The law requires the intending parents to provide the surrogate with health insurance covering a period of 36 months.
