Eligibility & Medical Board Certification · 3–6 weeks
Obtain the medical indication certificate from the District Medical Board and your eligibility certificates from the appropriate authority.
Clinic Registration & Surrogate Matching · 4–8 weeks
Register with an ART-registered surrogacy clinic and complete screening and matching of an eligible surrogate.
Legal Agreements · 2–4 weeks
Sign the surrogacy agreement, arrange the mandatory 36-month surrogate insurance and complete documentation.
IVF & Embryo Creation · 4–6 weeks
Ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, fertilisation and embryo culture in the laboratory.
Embryo Transfer · 1 cycle
The embryo is transferred to the surrogate. A pregnancy test confirms implantation after about two weeks.
Pregnancy & Ante-natal Care · ~9 months
Regular scans, check-ups and full medical and emotional support for the surrogate throughout pregnancy.
Delivery & Parentage Order · At term
The baby is delivered and the legal parentage order confirms the intending parents as the legal parents.
